Frequently Asked Questions

Based in Acton, W3,  we are best positioned to suit customers based in West London; Acton and the surrounding areas (eg Chiswick, Ealing, Shephards Bush, Hammersmith). Each project will vary in length depending on its scale and complexity. Projects requiring specially sourced materials may take longer. 

Lead times and availability can also vary from a couple of weeks to several months - depending on the time of year and other projects being worked on. Dates for the work will be discussed - and often provisionally booked - at the point deposits are taken. 

Usually, we will need to visit a home in order to offer a quote or estimate. 

During the visit we will listen to you explain what you would like to do, talk through the project and assess the space.  

From there, we can usually offer a quote or estimate within 1-2 weeks depending on the scale of the work and our schedule at that time. In a first case, an informal estimate may be offered. If you wish to proceed furthey, details and design will be clarified and a more in depth quote offered which will include details for the work thats proposed as well as a breakdown of the costs for you to see. 

Following this, if you have any questions, new ideas or wish to make changes to suit your budget we are very happy to do so. 

Once a quote or estimate has been accepted and a customer wishes to move forward a deposit will usually be required as dates are agreed and confirmed. For larger projects, a payment plan may be arranged. 

All invoices are paid by bank transfer or online payment, unfortunately we do no accept cash or cheques as a means of payment. Our invoices are digital and contain both a payment link and bank details to make the correct transfer. 

Crafted Homes London is the trading name for Benjamin Webber (Sole Trader), who is not VAT registered. You will not be charged VAT for any work done with Crafted Homes London. 

Yes. Crafted Homes London  has public liability policies in place to cover all aspects of its work.
